This volume features 79 reviewed papers across 10 tracks, covering a wide range of disciplines including Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical and Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer and Electrical Engineering, Engineering Systems Management, Materials and Mechanical Engineering, Mathematical Modeling and Simulation, Statistics, Machine Learning, and Data Science, as well as Other Science and Engineering topics.
Call for Papers
We would like to invite you to submit your original and unpublished research work to the Ninth International Conference on Modeling, Simulation and Applied Optimization in Morocco, April 26th-28th 2023. All papers will be reviewed by at least two reviewers. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the AIP Conference Proceedings indexed in leading databases including Web of Science and Scopus.
All submissions should be written in English using the AIP MS Word or LaTex2e templates with a length between 5 to 8 pages. Only PDF files will be accepted for the review process and all submissions must be done through EDAS. The templates and the guidelines to prepare your paper are available in the following links:

Important: Please make sure that the paper title and the list of authors included in the submitted PDF file is the same as those included in the EDAS paper registration page.
To be published in the ICMSAO conference proceeding, at least one author must register at the regular rate even if the paper is presented by a student. Registration fees cover one paper to the proceeding; one additional paper will cost 120 Euro; two or more additional papers will cost 200 Euro for registering each additional paper.
All submitted manuscripts to ICMSAO23 will be checked by Similarity Check using iThenticate software to verify the originality of written work; therefore submissions with similar content to one or more sources will be flagged.

Call for Abstracts
One-page abstracts are welcomed but will NOT be included in the conference proceeding. A student poster competition is also organized during the conference.

Call for Special Session
We are welcoming proposals for special session. Sessions are organized by experts in a particular area within the main topics of the conference. The organizer of the session will be responsible for
- Advertising and inviting authors
- Coordinating the review process (at least two reviews per paper)
- Communicating with the session’s authors and ICMSAO organizers
- Coming to the conference in person to lead the session
